On the reaction day the stock moved 1.1 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 0.3 pts more than its Houseware peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Through wholly owned Stylenest India, Borosil approved a third double-wall line for a Rajasthan plant making vacuum-insulated steel flasks, bottles and containers. Initial annual capacity will be 3.6 million units. The Rs 65 crore project is targeted to start two lines by Q4 FY2025-26 and the third by Q1 FY2026-27, subject to approvals. Q2 revenue rose 22.3% to Rs 340.36 crore; standalone profit after tax rose 24.7% to Rs 22.85 crore.
New capacity may improve supply and reduce import dependence, but the Rs 65 crore outlay could pressure near-term cash flows.
