Bosch Home Comfort India reported a net loss of Rs. 28.6 million for FY26, compared to a profit of Rs. 588.3 million in FY25. Revenue from operations declined marginally to Rs. 26,986.9 million from Rs. 27,564.6 million. The sharp decline in profitability was driven by multiple exceptional items including Rs. 89.7 million in severance pay, Rs. 140.8 million impact from new labour codes, and a Rs. 65 million retention bonus. The auditor issued an unmodified opinion confirming clean financials. The company also completed its transition to the Bosch Group following Robert Bosch GmbH's acquisition of the JV's HVAC business.
The stock may see negative sentiment due to the company turning loss-making for the first time. However, the loss is largely due to one-time exceptional items and restructuring costs, which may be non-recurring. The management change with new leadership may bring future operational improvements.
