On the reaction day the stock moved 1.9 pts less than its Auto Components & Equipments peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

The Board approved a 3:1 bonus issue and split each Rs10 share into five Rs2 shares, subject to shareholder postal ballot. This would issue 442.44 million bonus shares and raise paid-up capital to 589.92 million shares. Q2 consolidated revenue was Rs7,655.1 crore and profit after tax Rs83.94 crore, up 19%. Completion is targeted within two months of November 6, 2026.
The bonus itself adds no value, while the split mechanically lowers the per-share price and may improve retail affordability. Shareholder approval is pending.
