Bosch Limited reported strong financial performance for FY 2025-26 with standalone revenue from operations of Rs 200,347 million, up 10.8% from Rs 180,874 million in the previous year. Net profit after tax jumped 37.6% to Rs 27,703 million from Rs 20,133 million, driven by exceptional gains of Rs 5,560 million from sale of the Video solutions business and improved operational performance across segments. The automotive products segment contributed Rs 178,074 million (up 14.5% YoY), while consumer goods grew to Rs 18,360 million. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 270 per share (down from Rs 512 in FY24-25). Key board decisions include appointment of Ramesh Ramadurai as Independent Director, formation of a 50:50 joint venture with Wheels India and Brakes India for commercial vehicle air systems, and strike-off of non-material subsidiary RBIM.
The strong PAT growth of 37.6% and clean audit opinion are positive signals for shareholders. However, the dividend reduction of nearly 47% despite higher profits may concern income-focused investors. The JV formation and acquisition of Bosch Chassis Systems indicate strategic expansion in mobility business.
