BPL Limited reported weak Q3 FY26 results with standalone revenue from operations of Rs. 19.19 crores, slightly lower than Rs. 19.32 crores in Q3 FY25. For the nine months, revenue from operations fell to Rs. 58.51 crores from Rs. 59.62 crores, while total income dropped sharply to Rs. 59.62 crores from Rs. 69.20 crores, hurt by a steep fall in other income. Standalone profit after tax for 9M FY26 came in at Rs. 2.71 crores, down from Rs. 17.83 crores in 9M FY25. Operating cash flow turned sharply negative at Rs. (95.47) crores, and the company raised fresh borrowings of Rs. 97.44 crores, pushing total borrowings from Rs. 8.05 crores to Rs. 105.50 crores. The auditor flagged concerns about unredeemed preference shares and the subsidiary's delayed power project.
Shareholders should note significant deterioration in cash flows, a sharp rise in debt, weak core profitability, and pending legal contingencies including an unfavorable Supreme Court ruling. These factors may weigh on the stock in the near term despite stable PCB segment performance.
