FirstCry's parent Brainbees Solutions reported consolidated revenue from operations of ₹24,236 crore for Q3 FY26, up about 11.6% year-on-year from ₹21,723 crore, while 9M FY26 revenue grew to ₹63,853 crore from ₹57,293 crore. The company posted a consolidated net loss of ₹384 crore in Q3 FY26, wider than the ₹147 crore loss a year ago, and a 9M FY26 loss of ₹1,555 crore versus ₹1,533 crore in the prior period. Standalone, however, the business turned in a profit of ₹462 crore in Q3, up roughly 22% year-on-year. India multi-channel remained the profit engine with a Q3 segment result of ₹932 crore, while International continued to lose money (₹374 crore) and Globalbees narrowed its loss to ₹65 crore from ₹201 crore a year ago. The results include exceptional items of ₹163 crore in Q3 (mainly a ₹140 crore impact from India's new Labour Codes). Separately, M&M nominee Puneet Renjhen resigned from the board and was replaced by Saloni Jain Rana, also nominated by M&M.
The stock may see a mixed reaction — top-line growth is healthy and Globalbees is improving, but consolidated losses are still expanding and the new Labour Code adds a one-off drag. The M&M board change is a routine nominee reshuffle and unlikely to affect strategy or shareholder value.
