Brand Concepts posted Q2 FY26 standalone revenue of Rs 9,795.67 lakhs, up about 26% YoY from Rs 7,749.33 lakhs (restated for the IFF Overseas merger). However, net profit fell sharply to Rs 23.56 lakhs from Rs 266.53 lakhs, down about 91% YoY. For H1 FY26, the company slipped into a small net loss of Rs 38.03 lakhs versus a profit of Rs 477.75 lakhs last year. A new manufacturing unit at Ujjain commenced operations in July 2025. Current borrowings climbed to Rs 12,391 lakhs from Rs 8,251 lakhs, and the company did not recognise share of associate losses of Rs 2,661.59 lakhs.
Strong top-line growth is offset by collapsing profits and a half-year loss. Higher borrowings and margin pressure may worry investors despite the new plant.
