Bridge Securities Ltd reported audited results showing strong full-year growth: total income jumped to Rs. 197.69 lakhs from Rs. 80.03 lakhs in FY24, while net profit more than doubled to Rs. 127.43 lakhs from Rs. 51.65 lakhs. However, the fourth quarter standalone was weak — revenue collapsed to just Rs. 6.66 lakhs (vs Rs. 32.18 lakhs in Q4 FY24), and the company slipped into a net loss of Rs. 48.33 lakhs for the quarter, mainly due to a Rs. 48.91 lakh tax expense. Operating cash flow turned negative at Rs. (61.21) lakhs versus Rs. 20.43 lakhs last year. The statutory auditor (Mitali Modi & Co.) issued an unmodified opinion on the results.
Positive on a full-year basis with sharply higher revenue and profits, but the steep Q4 loss, negative operating cash flow, and accumulated negative reserves of Rs. 113.99 lakhs flag concerns about near-term sustainability and warrant investor caution.
