Bridge Securities Ltd reported a strong FY25 with total income rising to ₹197.69 lakhs from ₹80.03 lakhs in FY24, driven mainly by ₹191.04 lakhs in revenue from operations (up ~139% YoY). Net profit for the year jumped to ₹127.43 lakhs from ₹51.65 lakhs, though the Q4 standalone numbers showed a loss of ₹48.33 lakhs due to a one-time tax provisioning of ₹48.73 lakhs. The balance sheet improved with total assets doubling to ₹476.93 lakhs, while negative reserves narrowed to ₹(113.99) lakhs from ₹(241.43) lakhs. Operating cash flow, however, turned negative at ₹(61.21) lakhs versus ₹20.43 lakhs inflow last year, with the company relying on ₹72.50 lakhs from share warrant proceeds to fund activities. Statutory auditor Mitali Modi & Co. issued an unmodified opinion, and there were no related party transactions or loan defaults.
Annual results look healthy on paper with sharp profit growth, but shareholders should note the concerning shift to negative operating cash flow and a high tax-driven Q4 loss. Despite raising funds via convertible warrants and improving reserves, the company still carries accumulated losses and weak cash generation from core business.
