On the reaction day the stock moved 5.5 pts less than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 5.7 pts less than its Residential Commercial Projects peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Brigade Enterprises board approved Q4 and FY2026 results showing consolidated revenue of Rs 5,69,722 lakhs (up 12% YoY) and profit after tax of Rs 72,476 lakhs. The board recommended a final dividend of Rs 2 per share (20% on Rs 10 face value) and approved a bonus share issue in the ratio of 1:3, meaning 1 new fully paid equity share for every 3 shares held. The record date for the bonus will be announced separately. The authorized share capital will also be increased from Rs 250 crore to Rs 400 crore, subject to shareholder approval via postal ballot.
Bonus issue increases liquidity and share count but dilutes EPS initially, while the dividend signals financial health. Both measures are shareholder-friendly and may provide near-term positive sentiment for the stock.
