Brigade Enterprises posted Q1 FY27 results (ended Jun 30, 2026). Consolidated revenue fell 12.9% YoY to Rs 1,11,555 lakhs. However, profit after tax rose 37.4% to Rs 21,694 lakhs from Rs 15,795 lakhs, aided by a Rs 4,288 lakh exceptional gain from the Bain Capital deal where Vibrancy Real Estate became a joint venture. EPS was Rs 6.14 vs Rs 4.60. The company issued bonus shares in a 1:3 ratio. Auditors flagged legal matters including a Rs 29,222 lakh property tax demand on subsidiary BHVL and an income tax survey.
Mixed quarter. Strong profit growth helped by one-time gain. Revenue weakness and legal overhangs on subsidiary worth watching.
