Brightcom Group's shares will resume trading on BSE and NSE on 14 July 2025 after the suspension was officially revoked on 4 July 2025, following full compliance with post-revocation requirements. The company reported FY25 revenue of ₹5,146 crore (up 10.4% year-on-year) and net profit of ₹710.03 crore (up 3.4% year-on-year). Two SEBI orders — a Confirmatory Order (28 Feb 2024) and a Final Order (6 Feb 2025) — remain under appeal before the Securities Appellate Tribunal and Telangana High Court respectively, with the next SAT hearing scheduled for 4 September 2025. The Telangana High Court had granted interim relief on 18 March 2025, noting prima facie there was insufficient evidence to sustain the penalty. The last traded price was around ₹10.25–₹10.28 against a book value of ₹43.05, and the opening price will be discovered via a special pre-open session auction.
For shareholders, this is a significant positive — the trading freeze is lifted and fundamentals look reasonable with double-digit revenue growth. However, the pending SEBI litigation remains an overhang and could create volatility once trading resumes, especially given the wide gap between last traded price and book value.
