Brookfield India Real Estate Trust REIT has informed the Exchange regarding Disclosure of material issue
Awaiting price reaction for this filing.
Brookfield India REIT has filed its quarterly disclosure on the use of proceeds from its August 2023 institutional placement, which raised around ₹2,305.36 crore in total. The manager confirms there is no deviation or variation in how the funds have been deployed compared with the original plan stated in the placement document. Of the ₹2,200 crore earmarked for acquiring Kairos Property Managers and Candor Gurgaon One Realty Projects, ₹2,189.68 crore has been utilised as of March 31, 2025. For general purposes, ₹20.63 crore was used against ₹20.36 crore allocated (a small ₹0.27 crore overrun, which is within the flexibility disclosed in the placement document), while ₹73.29 crore of the ₹85 crore set aside for issue-related expenses has been utilised. The audit committee raised no comments on the disclosure.
This is a routine compliance filing with no negative signals — the REIT has used placement proceeds largely as planned and has reported no deviation. For unitholders, this reinforces disciplined capital deployment around the Kairos and Candor G1 acquisitions, with a small unutilised balance still to be deployed in future quarters.
