Brookfield India REIT SPV scheme to offset accumulated losses via NCLT filing

Brookfield India REIT's 50 percent-owned SPV Kairos Properties has approved a Scheme of Arrangement under Section 230 of the Companies Act, to be filed with NCLT, to set off Kairos' accumulated losses as of June 30, 2026 by adjusting its amalgamation adjustment account, equity reserve on CCD conversion, and securities premium account. REIT's economic interest in Kairos remains unaffected. The move aims to improve the character of future distributions to unitholders.
