Butterfly Gandhimathi Appliances reported its audited financial results for Q4 and full year ended March 31, 2025. Q4 FY25 revenue grew 12% year-on-year to Rs. 187 crore, with EBITDA margin rebounding sharply to 8.6% from a negative 11.9% in Q4 FY24. For the full year FY25, revenue declined 7% to Rs. 865 crore (from Rs. 931 crore), but PAT jumped 340% to Rs. 33 crore (from Rs. 7 crore), with EBITDA margin expanding by 460 basis points to 7.5%. The statutory auditors issued an unmodified opinion on the results. The board also appointed Mr. Jayant Barde as Company Secretary & Compliance Officer, appointed/re-appointed Secretarial, Cost, Internal (Ernst & Young) and Tax Auditors, and fixed August 5, 2025 as the date for the 38th AGM.
Positive for shareholders: strong rebound in profitability and margins signals successful turnaround initiatives, even though full-year revenue contracted. The sharp PAT growth of 340% and EBITDA margin expansion reflect improved operational efficiency and pricing actions. Cash and equivalents dropped materially to Rs. 9.7 crore from Rs. 40.9 crore, mostly due to mutual fund investments, which investors should monitor.
