AI summary

California Software Company has extended the deadline for shareholders to pay the First and Final Call money of ₹7.50 per partly paid-up equity share from its earlier Rights Issue. The original payment date of March 02, 2026 has been extended to a new window of March 11, 2026 to May 08, 2026. The company cited shareholder requests, market conditions, and liquidity concerns as reasons for the extension. A 10% per annum interest will be charged on unpaid amounts from the original due date until actual payment. The Record Date of February 05, 2026 remains unchanged, and the ISIN for the partly paid-up shares will continue to be suspended from trading until the call process is completed.

Likely market impact

This signals potential collection difficulties with the Rights Issue, as the company needed to give shareholders extra time to pay. Shareholders who do not pay will face 10% annual interest charges. The continued trading suspension of the partly paid shares may also weigh on stock liquidity and investor sentiment.
