Camlin Fine Sciences Q1 FY27: consolidated revenue rose about 28% YoY to Rs 5,198.79M from Rs 4,077.21M. Loss after tax widened to Rs 329.66M versus Rs 106.81M YoY. Exceptional item of Rs 108.80M reflects insurance settlement shortfall for a Feb 2026 fire at the Brazil subsidiary. Results were also hit by discontinued operations of CFS Europe SpA and a Rs 83.69M forex loss. EPS stood at minus Rs 1.65.
Strong top-line growth but bottom line remains under pressure from exceptional charges and one-offs. Margin recovery is the key thing to watch for shareholders.
