Canara Bank reported a standalone net profit of ₹19,186.67 crore for FY 2025-26, up 12.7% from ₹17,026.67 crore in the previous year. Total income grew to ₹1,53,204.21 crore from ₹1,42,207.87 crore. The bank declared a dividend of ₹4.20 per share (210% on face value of ₹2). Asset quality improved significantly with gross NPA ratio falling from 2.94% to 1.84% and net NPA from 0.70% to 0.43%. The provision coverage ratio rose to 94.21%. Capital adequacy remained strong at 17.04% CET-1 ratio. Notably, the bank reported a pre-tax profit of ₹1,929.56 crore from divestment of stake in two insurance and asset management associates via IPOs.
