Candour Techtex Limited's Board approved its unaudited standalone results for Q2 FY26 and H1 FY26, with statutory auditor Ambavat Jain & Associates LLP issuing a clean (unqualified) limited review report. Revenue from operations collapsed sharply to ₹1,029.06 lakhs in Q2 FY26 from ₹3,975.50 lakhs in Q2 FY25 (a ~74% drop), and H1 FY26 revenue fell to ₹4,396.31 lakhs from ₹8,785.04 lakhs (a ~50% decline). The company swung to a Q2 loss of ₹(108.47) lakhs versus a profit of ₹53.28 lakhs a year ago, and an H1 loss of ₹(200.47) lakhs versus an H1 FY25 profit of ₹113.37 lakhs. The Trading Division contributed zero revenue in Q2 (vs ₹3,356.92 lakhs last year), while the Technical Textile Division deepened losses to ₹(251.32) lakhs in H1. Despite operational weakness, the company raised ₹502.20 lakhs via a preferential issue, reduced long-term borrowings to ₹1,565.11 lakhs, and boosted cash balances to ₹890.40 lakhs. EPS was reported on the post-consolidation face value of ₹10 per share.
Shareholders should note a significant deterioration in core operating performance with revenue nearly halving and the company slipping into losses, mainly due to the Trading Division going dormant and the Technical Textile Division remaining a drag. However, the equity infusion, debt reduction, and stronger cash position provide near-term balance sheet cushion; stock sentiment may remain weak until revenue and segment profitability recover.
