Capacite Infraprojects reported total consolidated income of Rs 2,64,363 lakhs for FY2026, up 9.8% from Rs 2,40,711 lakhs in FY2025. Net profit after tax declined to Rs 19,309 lakhs from Rs 20,377 lakhs in the prior year, with EPS falling to Rs 22.82 from Rs 24.08. The auditors issued a qualified opinion due to uncertainty over recoverability of Rs 1,155.93 lakhs in trade receivables from one party that was previously written off as bad debt. Additionally, the auditors drew attention to an emphasis of matter regarding Rs 5,492.76 lakhs in long-outstanding receivables and contract assets where the company has taken legal action for recovery. The company also approved incorporation of a Section 8 CSR foundation and reappointed key auditors and a Whole Time Director.
The qualified auditor opinion on trade receivable recoverability and the emphasis of matter on disputed receivables create concerns about asset quality and earnings reliability. The PAT decline despite revenue growth indicates margin pressure, which may concern investors.
