On the reaction day the stock moved 4.7 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

CARE Ratings downgraded Capital Trust's long-term bank facility rating to BB from BB+ with a Stable outlook. The cut reflects a 26 crore net loss in H1FY26 versus 1 crore profit in FY25, GNPA rising to 9.4% from 1.4% in FY24, and AUM falling to 124 crore from 725 crore in 2019. Bank facility limits were cut from 50 crore to 10 crore. The company raised 24 crore via rights issue in November 2025, lifting capital adequacy to 35.7%.
Negative sentiment as downgrade signals worsening asset quality and profitability; capital raise and NCD repayment offer partial support.
