Caprihans India has allotted 3,30,000 equity shares to its promoter, Bilcare Limited, upon the conversion of 3,30,000 warrants. The shares were issued at Rs. 200 each (Rs. 10 face value plus Rs. 190 premium), totalling Rs. 6.60 crore, with Bilcare paying the balance 75% of Rs. 4.95 crore. This conversion is part of an earlier preferential allotment of 48,00,000 warrants issued to the promoter. Following this allotment, Bilcare's holding in the company has increased from 58.70% (91,48,325 shares) to 59.56% (94,78,325 shares). The company's paid-up equity share capital has risen from Rs. 15.58 crore to Rs. 15.91 crore.
This is a promoter-led warrant conversion that brings Rs. 4.95 crore of fresh capital into the company and slightly increases the promoter's stake by about 0.86%, resulting in marginal dilution for minority shareholders.
