Bilcare Limited, the sole promoter of Caprihans India Limited, has converted 2,65,000 convertible warrants into 2,65,000 equity shares on 02 June 2026. This is the fourth and final tranche of warrant conversions done during FY 2026-27, via preferential allotment. After this conversion, Bilcare's stake in Caprihans has risen to 1,11,83,325 shares, or 63.47% of the equity share capital (up from 62.92% before this tranche). Across all four tranches, the promoter's holding increased from 59.56% to 63.47%, with 3,15,000 warrants still remaining for future conversion. The acquisition was done through preferential allotment, not open market purchases.
This is a positive signal of promoter confidence as Bilcare is increasing its stake by converting warrants into shares rather than selling them down. Higher promoter holding (now above 63%) reduces free float, which can support the stock price but also increases concentration risk for minority shareholders.
