Bilcare Limited, the sole promoter of Caprihans India Limited, has converted 4,00,000 convertible warrants into equity shares on 30 May 2026, marking the third and final tranche of its warrant conversion exercise for FY26-27. With this allotment, Bilcare's holding in Caprihans has risen from 62.04% (1,05,18,325 shares) to 62.92% (1,09,18,325 shares) of the equity capital, with the diluted holding standing at 64.11%. This was done via preferential allotment, with 5,80,000 warrants still pending conversion. The move increases promoter concentration and reduces the public shareholding from 37.96% to 37.08%.
The promoter is steadily increasing its stake in Caprihans India through warrant conversion, which tightens promoter control to nearly two-thirds of the company. While this signals promoter confidence, it also gradually reduces the public float and voting influence of minority shareholders.
