Caspian Corporate Services Ltd (formerly Intellivate Capital Advisors Ltd) submitted its audited financial results for FY25, approved at the board meeting on 26th May 2025. The auditors (MAAK & Associates) issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on both standalone and consolidated results with no emphasis of matter. The board also recommended a 5% dividend (Rs 0.05 per share on Rs 1 face value). On a consolidated basis, total assets stood at Rs 8,361.94 lakhs (down from Rs 8,684.25 lakhs in FY24), while total equity rose to Rs 2,907.73 lakhs. However, the company reported negative cash flow from operating activities on both standalone (-Rs 209.70 lakhs) and consolidated (-Rs 114.03 lakhs) bases, despite showing a profit before tax of Rs 403.52 lakhs at the consolidated level. Equity share capital tripled to Rs 1,266 lakhs, suggesting a capital raise during the year.
A clean auditor opinion and dividend declaration are positive, but the persistent negative operating cash flow means profits are not translating into actual cash generation, which is a concern for shareholders. The capital infusion during the year partially cushioned the cash position.
