Jio Platforms launched India’s largest-ever IPO with an issue size of ₹30,188 crore, comprising up to 27 crore fresh shares. The issue received bids worth ₹4.72 lakh crore, or about ₹7.4 lakh crore including the anchor book, with 13.8 million applications and 67.15 times subscription from institutional buyers. The IPO values Jio Platforms at up to ₹10.3 lakh crore and could take the Reliance Group’s combined market capitalisation to approximately ₹28.35 lakh crore.
