CEAT posted Q1 FY27 consolidated revenue of Rs. 4,318 crore, up 22% YoY on strong demand. West Asia crisis lifted raw material costs, compressing consolidated EBITDA margin to 8.56% from 10.94%. Consolidated net profit fell to just Rs. 4 crore from Rs. 112 crore. Standalone revenue grew 18% to Rs. 4,163 crore, PAT at Rs. 98 crore versus Rs. 135 crore. Board approved Rs. 1,205 crore capex for two-wheeler tyre capacity by FY31.
Strong topline growth offset by sharp margin compression and steep profit decline. Major capex signals growth push but adds leverage and execution risk.
