Ceenik Exports reported a net profit of Rs. 230.23 lakhs for Q3 FY26, swinging from a loss of Rs. 1,236.25 lakhs in Q3 FY25, mainly driven by gains in its derivative trading segment (Rs. 220.64 lakhs vs Rs. -2,349.40 lakhs). However, the nine-month loss widened sharply to Rs. 452.10 lakhs from Rs. 115.46 lakhs in the same period last year. Realty & Investments revenue fell steeply to Rs. 54.02 lakhs in Q3 from Rs. 1,161.84 lakhs a year ago. The company has discontinued its garments segment from March 31, 2025 and now operates only in Realty and Derivative Trading. Total equity declined to Rs. 1,627.31 lakhs from Rs. 6,008.56 lakhs a year earlier, partly due to a prior revaluation correction.
The quarterly profit swing is encouraging but appears driven by volatile derivative trading gains rather than core business strength. The widening nine-month loss, steep drop in Realty revenue, and shrinking equity base raise concerns about business stability and future earnings quality for shareholders.
