Cello World Limited reported standalone revenue of Rs 1,115.5 crore for FY2026, virtually flat compared to Rs 1,112.6 crore in FY2025 (marginal 0.3% growth). However, profit after tax declined significantly to Rs 80.5 crore from Rs 111.6 crore in the prior year, representing approximately 28% fall. The company completed a Composite Scheme of Arrangement involving Wim Plast Limited demerger into Cello Consumer Products Private Limited and amalgamation of Wim Plast's remaining business with Cello World, effective April 1, 2025. As part of the scheme, 29.76 lakh equity shares will be allotted to Wim Plast shareholders on June 9, 2026 record date. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 1.50 per share (30%) for FY2026, subject to shareholder approval. Statutory auditors Deloitte Haskins & Sells issued unmodified opinions on both standalone and consolidated financial results. An exceptional item of Rs 1.98 crore was recorded due to incremental labour code impact. No deviation was reported in utilization of Rs 738 crore QIP funds raised in July 2024.
The stock may see mixed reaction as flat revenue with ~28% PAT decline indicates margin compression despite the structural reorganization completing. The dividend announcement and clean audit provide some support, while investors will focus on revenue growth trajectory in FY2027.
