Centrum Capital has allotted 4.35 crore equity shares at ₹34.38 each to 48 non-promoter investors, raising approximately ₹149.71 crores through a preferential issue. The allotment was approved by the Fund Raising Committee on August 28, 2025, following shareholder approval at the AGM on August 8, 2025 and in-principle approvals from BSE and NSE on August 13, 2025. Notable allottees include Negen Undiscovered Value Fund (72.7 lakh shares), Prisach Consultants LLP (58.2 lakh shares), Kitara India Growth Fund, LC Pharos Multi Strategy Fund, and Neo Special Credit Opportunities Fund. Post-allotment, the paid-up equity capital rose from 41.60 crore shares to 45.96 crore shares, representing a dilution of about 9.5% for existing shareholders. The new shares will rank equally with existing equity shares and the company will apply for listing and trading approval shortly.
Existing shareholders face roughly 9.5% dilution, but the company gets a fresh capital infusion of about ₹149.71 crores from a mix of institutional funds and HNIs, which is generally seen as a vote of confidence. The stock may see short-term pressure due to dilution, while long-term impact depends on how the raised capital is deployed.
