Centrum Capital's board approved its Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025) unaudited financial results on August 8, 2025, with auditors Sharp & Tannan issuing an unmodified review report. On a consolidated basis, total revenue from operations rose to ₹84,627 lakhs from ₹71,604 lakhs in Q1 FY25 (about 18% YoY growth), while total income jumped to ₹1,04,090 lakhs (from ₹72,500 lakhs) helped by a sharp rise in other income. The consolidated net loss narrowed significantly to ₹10,696 lakhs from ₹12,187 lakhs, and the loss attributable to owners shrank to ₹1,393 lakhs from ₹9,119 lakhs in the year-ago quarter. On a standalone basis, however, the net loss widened to ₹3,271 lakhs from ₹1,383 lakhs, partly due to a ₹136 lakh exceptional loss on the sale of its entire investment in subsidiary Centrum Broking Limited. The Banking Business (Unity Small Finance Bank) remains the dominant segment by revenue (₹65,906 lakhs) but posted a segment loss of ₹18,995 lakhs during the quarter.
The narrowing of the consolidated loss and improved revenue trajectory are mildly positive, but the company remains loss-making at both group and parent levels, and the Banking subsidiary continues to drag profitability. The divestment of Centrum Broking signals portfolio restructuring, but shareholders should watch for sustained improvement in the Banking segment before sentiment turns decisively positive.
