Centrum Capital reported consolidated total income of ₹1,04,089.67 lakhs for Q1 FY26, up 43.6% year-on-year from ₹72,499.82 lakhs in Q1 FY25, driven mainly by higher interest income (₹67,259.82 lakhs) and a sharp jump in other income. The company posted a consolidated net loss of ₹10,696.36 lakhs, narrower than the ₹12,187.18 lakh loss in the year-ago quarter, with loss attributable to owners shrinking sharply to ₹1,392.90 lakhs from ₹9,118.93 lakhs. On the standalone basis, the company reported a loss of ₹3,271.42 lakhs, including an exceptional item reflecting the loss on sale of its entire investment in subsidiary Centrum Broking Limited. The banking segment (Unity Small Finance Bank) remained the drag, posting a pre-tax loss of ₹18,995.42 lakhs. Auditor Sharp & Tannan issued an unmodified (clean) limited review conclusion on both consolidated and standalone results.
Revenue momentum is improving and the overall consolidated loss is shrinking, but persistent banking segment losses and continued bottom-line negativity mean the stock may remain under pressure near-term; minority shareholders of Unity SFB bear most of the segment pain, which cushions Centrum's parent-level P&L.
