Centrum Capital reported a consolidated net loss of ₹134.60 crore for Q3 FY2026, widening from a ₹31.77 crore loss in Q2 FY2026 and a ₹100.95 crore loss in Q3 FY2025. Total revenue from operations for the quarter was ₹878.36 crore, roughly flat year-on-year, while 9M FY2026 revenue grew about 7% to ₹2,547.57 crore. The 9M FY2026 consolidated net loss stood at ₹250.07 crore versus ₹172.79 crore in the same period last year. The group highlighted that the loss was largely due to conservative provisioning at Unity Small Finance Bank amid MSME and microfinance headwinds. On a positive note, the company retired ₹200 crore of standalone debt using QIP proceeds, secured all approvals for the Centrum Housing Finance divestment (expected to bring in over ₹400 crore for further de-leveraging), and Unity Bank's CRAR stood at ~27% with CASA improving to 22% from 15% in March 2025. Statutory auditors Sharp & Tannan issued an unmodified review report.
The widening quarterly loss and continued group-level losses may weigh on short-term sentiment, but management's active de-leveraging, expected liquidity from the housing finance sale, and guidance that consolidated PAT could turn positive in Q4 FY2026 provide a constructive medium-term outlook for shareholders.
