Centrum Capital posted a consolidated Q2 loss after tax of Rs 850.48 lakhs versus a profit of Rs 764.04 lakhs a year ago. H1 FY26 loss stood at Rs 11,547 lakhs. Revenue rose 5 percent to Rs 1,66,921 lakhs but expenses jumped 33 percent to Rs 2,25,179 lakhs, driven by higher finance costs and impairments. The company raised Rs 200 crore via warrants to promoter group JBCG and Rs 149.71 crore via equity shares to marquee investors. It also agreed to sell Centrum Housing Finance to Weaver Services, subject to approvals.
Continued losses and rising expenses may weigh on stock; capital raises and Housing Finance sale are positives.
