CARE Ratings upgraded Centum Electronics credit ratings. Long-term bank facilities (Rs 249.13 crore) moved from BBB Positive to BBB+ Stable, and short-term facilities (Rs 184 crore) moved from A3+ to A2. Upgrade factors in exit from loss-making overseas subsidiaries (Centum UK, now under liquidation) and a growing order book, which rose to Rs 1,797 crore by June 2026 from Rs 1,341 crore a year earlier, mainly from Indian defence and space work. Revenue growth of about 20 to 25 percent CAGR is expected in the medium term.
Positive credit signal reflecting cleaner standalone profile and stronger order pipeline. May ease borrowing terms and improve investor confidence.
