On the reaction day the stock moved 1.8 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 2.5 pts less than its Other Textile Products peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Q2 FY26 standalone revenue fell 23.8% to Rs 40,870 lakh, but profit after tax rose 4.6% to Rs 2,256 lakh. Half-year revenue and net profit fell 23.9% and 17.3%, to Rs 81,023 lakh and Rs 3,791 lakh. Cash from operations was Rs 4,585 lakh. The auditor highlighted an excise case reassessed to Rs 730 lakh plus interest and an equal penalty. It deposited the amount under protest; its Supreme Court appeal is pending and no provision was made.
Lower sales and half-year profit may weigh on sentiment, but better margins and Q2 profit growth offer support. The excise appeal is a risk.
