Cera Sanitaryware reported total income from operations of Rs. 205,012 lakhs for FY 2025-26, up 7% from Rs. 191,525 lakhs in the previous year. Net profit after tax jumped 139% to Rs. 20,419 lakhs from Rs. 8,558 lakhs, driven by reversal of Rs. 1,065 lakhs excess provision for labour code-related gratuity and leave liabilities, profit on divestment of subsidiaries of Rs. 554 lakhs, and strong operating cash flow of Rs. 21,189 lakhs. The Board recommended a dividend of Rs. 75 per share (1500% on face value of Rs. 5). Basic and diluted EPS for FY 2025-26 stood at Rs. 158.31 versus Rs. 66.36 in the prior year. Auditors issued an unmodified opinion.
Strong profit growth and improved cash generation are positive signals for shareholders. The high dividend payout reinforces confidence in the company's financial health, though the stock may see modest reaction given the PAT increase was partly due to exceptional item reversals rather than core business strength alone.
