CESC Limited reported audited standalone results for FY2026 with revenue from operations of Rs 9,732 crore and PAT of Rs 852 crore (EPS Rs 6.43), versus Rs 9,584 crore revenue and Rs 800 crore PAT (EPS Rs 6.03) in FY2025. On a consolidated basis, FY2026 revenue stood at Rs 18,570 crore with PAT of Rs 1,618 crore (EPS Rs 11.63), compared to Rs 17,001 crore revenue and Rs 1,429 crore PAT in FY2025. The Board also approved continuation of Mr. Paras Kumar Chowdhary as Independent Director upon reaching age 75. Auditors S.R. Batliboi & Co. LLP issued unmodified (clean) opinions on both standalone and consolidated results. Operating profit margin improved to 18.4% from 18.2%, and net profit margin rose to 8.5% from 8.2% year-on-year.
CESC delivered steady improvement in profitability with PAT growth of about 13% YoY on consolidated basis, margin expansion, and clean audit. The stock is likely to be viewed positively given consistent earnings growth and improved operational efficiency.
