Chambal Fertilizers reported its Q1 FY26 results. Standalone revenue from operations rose about 15.5% year-on-year to Rs. 5,697.61 crore, with profit after tax up 15.5% to Rs. 637.97 crore and EPS of Rs. 15.92 (vs Rs. 13.78). The Complex Fertilisers segment nearly doubled its revenue to Rs. 2,130.87 crore, and Crop Protection Chemicals grew about 33.6% to Rs. 458.24 crore, while Own Manufactured Fertilisers revenue dipped slightly to Rs. 3,108.50 crore. On a consolidated basis, PAT grew 22.4% to Rs. 548.89 crore, aided by a Rs. 36.12 crore share of profit from the IMACID joint venture. Auditor Price Waterhouse issued an unmodified limited review report with no qualifications. A US step-down subsidiary, ISGN Corporation, was dissolved effective July 14, 2025.
Broad-based revenue and profit growth across segments, especially in Complex Fertilisers, is positive for shareholders. Wind-down of the US subsidiary is minor but removes a non-core drag, while healthy EPS and strong PBT of Rs. 842.59 crore signal a solid start to FY26.
