Chartered Logistics Limited submitted its 30th Annual Report for FY 2024-25 along with the notice of the AGM scheduled for September 27, 2025. Revenue from operations rose to Rs. 7,661.10 lakhs from Rs. 7,163.76 lakhs, a growth of about 6.9%. Profit after tax more than doubled to Rs. 138.68 lakhs (standalone) from Rs. 66.73 lakhs in the previous year, driven largely by sharply lower finance costs (down to Rs. 231.78 lakhs from Rs. 365.12 lakhs). EPS improved to Rs. 0.12 from Rs. 0.07. The company issued 2.09 crore equity shares on conversion of warrants, raising paid-up capital from Rs. 9.93 crore to Rs. 12.02 crore, and did not recommend any dividend for the year. A new Secretarial Auditor, M/s. Agarwal & Mehta Company Secretaries LLP, has been proposed for a 5-year term.
Profitability has improved meaningfully with PAT more than doubling despite only modest revenue growth, though much of this came from reduced finance costs rather than operating gains. No dividend is being paid, but the share base has expanded significantly due to warrant conversion, which may dilute existing shareholders. Shareholders should watch whether the profit growth is sustainable once finance cost benefits normalise.
