Chemcon Speciality Chemicals reported FY2025-26 results with revenue from operations growing 15.7% to Rs 23,998 Lakhs from Rs 20,740 Lakhs in the prior year. However, net profit declined 1.6% to Rs 2,386 Lakhs from Rs 2,425 Lakhs, with Q4 standalone net profit at Rs 637 Lakhs. The Board declared a first interim dividend of Rs 6.50 per share (65% of face value), with record date May 28, 2026. Statutory auditors Shah Mehta & Bakshi issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the annual financial results. The company completed acquisition of related party Shivam Petrochem Industries for Rs 3,600 Lakhs in October 2025. Cost auditor Chetan Gandhi & Associates and internal auditor Kulin Shah & Associates were reappointed for FY2026-27.
Revenue growth is positive but declining PAT despite higher sales signals margin pressure, which may concern investors focused on profitability. The clean audit opinion and dividend declaration provide some support. The related party acquisition (Rs 3,600 Lakhs) increases related party transaction exposure.
