Chemfab Alkalis Limited reported a revenue decline for FY26 with standalone revenue falling to Rs 28,857 Lakhs from Rs 32,209 Lakhs in FY25. Standalone net profit dropped significantly to Rs 751 Lakhs from Rs 1,522 Lakhs in the previous year, a decline of about 51%. Consolidated results show the company posted a net loss of Rs 343 Lakhs for FY26 compared to a loss of Rs 694 Lakhs in FY25, showing some improvement. The PVC-O Pipes segment saw substantial revenue decline from Rs 13,145 Lakhs to Rs 9,347 Lakhs. An exceptional item of Rs 989 Lakhs was recorded in consolidated results. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs 1.25 per share (12.5%). The auditor gave an unmodified (clean) opinion on both standalone and consolidated results.
The significant decline in profit and continued consolidated loss may negatively impact investor sentiment. The clean audit opinion provides some comfort, but the revenue contraction across segments and increased finance costs warrant close monitoring.
