Chemfab Alkalis reported FY2026 standalone revenue of Rs. 2,885.66 crore, down 10.4% from Rs. 3,220.91 crore in FY2025. Net profit fell sharply to Rs. 75.06 crore from Rs. 152.24 crore in the prior year (approximately 51% decline). Consolidated results show a net loss of Rs. 34.27 crore after accounting for exceptional items of Rs. 98.88 lakh. The Board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 1.25 per share (12.5% on Rs. 10 face value), subject to shareholder approval. New internal auditors (Brahmayya & Co) were appointed and cost auditors (Madhavan, Mohan & Associates) reappointed for FY2027. Statutory auditors Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP issued an unmodified opinion on the financial statements.
The company experienced significant profit erosion with standalone PAT declining over 50% and consolidated operations turning loss-making. While dividend payment signals management confidence, the weak financial performance and revenue decline may concern investors. The stock is listed on BSE (541269) and NSE (CHEMFAB).
