Chemiesynth (Vapi) reported Q1 FY27 revenue of Rs 419.69 lakh, up about 5.6% YoY from Rs 397.46 lakh. However, net loss widened to Rs 58.37 lakh from Rs 45.63 lakh last year, with EPS at negative Rs 1.90. Total expenses rose to Rs 479.92 lakh. Full year FY26 also ended in a loss of Rs 98.93 lakh. The Board approved raising authorized share capital from Rs 3.25 crore to Rs 18.25 crore and issuing up to Rs 15 crore of 5% unlisted Non-Convertible Cumulative Redeemable Preference Shares on private placement basis, likely to the promoter group. Auditor's limited review report is unqualified.
Sustained quarterly losses and rising expenses remain a worry for shareholders. The Rs 15 crore preference share infusion from promoter group may provide capital support, but dilution risk and dividend servicing ability warrant watch.
