Cineline India posted Q1FY27 revenue of Rs 5,927.46 lakhs, up about 31 percent YoY from Rs 4,528.98 lakhs. Profit before tax and exceptional items turned positive at Rs 6.06 lakhs versus a loss of Rs 270.43 lakhs a year ago. However, an exceptional loss of Rs 154.19 lakhs from a fire at Pacific Mall Kaushambi pushed PAT to a loss of Rs 120.98 lakhs, narrower than Rs 205.88 lakhs loss in Q1FY26. EPS stood at negative Rs 0.35. Insurance claim filed for fire damage.
Mixed quarter. Strong revenue growth and core turnaround, but one-time fire loss drove PAT into the red. Insurance recovery is a key monitorable.
