On the reaction day the stock moved 1.7 pts less than Nifty 100 and 0.2 pts less than its Pharmaceuticals peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Q2 FY27 revenue was INR 7,404 crore, up 4% sequentially, and profit after tax was INR 878 crore. The margin before depreciation, interest and other income improved 200 basis points to 18.7%, and management guided to further sequential gains. North America revenue was $172 million; management maintained a $1 billion annualised exit revenue rate target, backed by Ventolin, Advair and three planned launches. One India grew 12% year on year.
Positive: margin gains, India growth and US launch ramps could lift earnings, but approval timing and compliance issues may delay targets.
