On the reaction day the stock moved in line with Nifty 100 and 1.8 pts less than its Pharmaceuticals peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Cipla's unaudited consolidated Q2 revenue from operations fell 2.4% year on year to Rs 7,403.93 crore, while net profit declined 37.1% to Rs 851.51 crore. Half-year revenue was nearly flat at Rs 14,523.21 crore, but profit fell 38.1% to Rs 1,637.06 crore. Operating cash flow remained positive at Rs 1,218.67 crore. The auditor's review was unmodified; the FY26 comparator included a Rs 275.91 crore labour-code exceptional charge.
Weaker earnings may pressure the share price, though positive cash flow and a clean review offer some support.
