Clara Industries' board approved audited results for the second half and full year ended 31 March 2025. Full-year revenue from operations fell to Rs 1,077.89 lakh from Rs 1,268.13 lakh, a decline of about 15% year-on-year. Profit after tax dropped sharply to Rs 189.03 lakh from Rs 419.67 lakh, roughly a 55% fall, pushing EPS down to Rs 0.91 from Rs 2.07. However, the second half alone was much stronger than the first half, with revenue rising to Rs 764.95 lakh and PAT to Rs 118.82 lakh. Operating cash flow turned strongly positive at Rs 433.42 lakh versus an outflow last year, and the company issued bonus shares (1.65 crore shares) during the year. The statutory auditor issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the results.
Despite a weaker full-year performance with a steep drop in profits, the improving H2 trend and healthy operating cash flow are positives. The clean audit opinion and bonus issue are shareholder-friendly, but the sharp year-on-year earnings decline may weigh on the stock in the near term.
