Clinitech Laboratory Ltd (formerly a private limited company) announced its first audited results as a listed entity, covering FY25 (ended March 31, 2025). Revenue from operations rose to ₹823.49 lakhs from ₹640.30 lakhs in FY24, a growth of about 29%. However, profit after tax rose only modestly to ₹39.47 lakhs from ₹37.12 lakhs, while basic EPS actually declined to ₹1.90 from ₹2.37, mostly because the share count increased after the IPO. The auditor (Kale Malde & Co.) issued an unmodified opinion. The company raised ₹578.30 lakhs through its IPO, of which ₹378.30 lakhs has been used and ₹200 lakhs remains unutilized, largely meant for expanding the diagnostic business.
Strong top-line growth is a positive, but flat PAT growth, EPS dilution from new shares, and continued negative operating cash flow (-₹87.87 lakhs) suggest cost pressures remain. Borrowings have been wiped out (₹86.31 lakhs to zero) and cash balances quadrupled after the IPO, which strengthens the balance sheet but the unutilized IPO funds and weak cash generation will be key things for shareholders to watch.
