CMS Info Systems reported FY26 total revenue of ₹2,487 Cr, up 2.6% YoY with services revenue at ₹2,312 Cr (up 5.8%). However, EBITDA declined 5.2% to ₹600 Cr with margin at 24.1% (compression from prior year), and PAT dropped 18.5% to ₹303 Cr due to a challenging H1. Q4 marked a turnaround with services revenue crossing ₹600 Cr for the first time, EBITDA margin expanding 280 bps to 25.6%, and PAT up 38% QoQ to ₹79 Cr. The Board approved a ₹168 Cr buyback (3% of shares at ₹340 each) and recommended final dividend of ₹2.50 per share, taking total FY26 dividend to ₹5.25 per share. An exceptional charge of ₹92.44 Cr was recorded due to new Labour Codes implementation. Auditors issued clean (unmodified) opinion.
While FY26 was tough with profit down 18.5%, Q4 showed strong sequential recovery in margins and profitability. The buyback signals management confidence and returns capital to shareholders. FY27 guidance of ₹2,800-2,900 Cr revenue (13-17% growth) is reaffirmed.
